Directions and parking: Please meet at the Glendalough Visitor Centre. There are several public car parks in the area, with varying availability and pricing. As Glendalough is a very popular tourist destination, parking can be limited and delays are common, particularly at weekends and in good weather. As such, participants are responsible for planning their journey in advance and allowing sufficient time to locate parking and reach the meeting point before the scheduled departure of the bus. The bus will depart promptly at the stated time and cannot be delayed for late arrivals.
Bus leaves Glendalough at 11:00 AM sharp for the starting point of Ballinagee Bridge. As this is a linear walk, the CSI will provide and pay for a bus transfer from Glendalough to the starting point.
