Our 2nd walk of 2022 for Members & Friends. With a little luck the weather won't beat us this time.

About the Event
Meet at 10:30
Walk Starts @ 11am-sharp
Meet: @ Horse and Jockey Village Tipperary
Parking: Rear Carpark Horse and Jockey Hotel, and in the vicinity of the local Handball Alley beside the rear carpark.
Distance 9km. 2+hours.
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. Suits all levels of fitness
Gear: Rain gear & hiking boots/shoes, a Hi Viz jacket(if you have one). Snack & a drink.
Terrain: Country roads, gravel paths and Boreens, generally flat terrain with a smooth surface and some gentle slopes and shallow steps.
SAFETY NOTE: There are some sections of Public Roads on the trail and walkers are asked to be mindful of their safety with regards to traffic.
NB: Strictly no Dogs allowed on Private Lands Please observe the Principles of LEAVE NO TRACE…..
John G O'Dwyer of Pilgrim Paths will lead the walk and he will give short talk at Derrynaflan Church. Walk organised by Michael Walsh.
Places are limited so only register for the walk if you are sure you can make it, please.
PS: If very bad weather is forecast and the walk has to be cancelled we will notify those who have registered before 19.00 on the previous day.
