About the Event
This walk is open for current members to register and bring one friend.
Meet: The Catholic Church car park at 10:30 AM. It is to the southeast of the square on the road to Ballyragget. Please do not park in the square. Walk starts at 11:00 AM sharp.
Distance: 12-15km
Duration: 3-4 hours, allowing for short stops to talk about local areas of interest, as well as to have lunch/snacks.
Difficulty: Easy to moderate; should suit most levels of fitness.
Gear: Rain gear and appropriate walking boots or trail shoes are essential. If there's heavy rain in the days before the walk, gaiters are recommended. Be sure to bring a snack/lunch and a drink.
