Durrow, Co. Laois walk - 20 April 2024

This walk is open for members to register and bring their friends.

Meet: The Catholic Church car park at 10:30 AM. It is to the southeast of the square on the road to Ballyragget.

Time: Walk starts at 11:00 AM sharp. 

Parking:  There is local parking. Please do not park in the square.

Distance: 12-15 km

Duration: 3-4 hours, allowing for short stops to talk about local areas of interest, as well as to have lunch/snacks. 

Difficulty: Easy to moderate; should suit most levels of fitness.

Gear: Rain gear and appropriate walking boots or trail shoes are essential. If there's heavy rain in the days before the walk, gaiters are recommended. Be sure to bring a snack/lunch and a drink.
