Lough Boora - Members' & Friends' Walk
We return to Lough Boora Discovery Park Co Offaly for our October Walk and you can bring a friend. Meet at the Visitor Centre @ 10:00 for a short talk on the Camino and the park's history followed by a gentle 15km walk.

Meet at the Visitor Centre @ 10:00 for a short talk on the Camino and the park's history followed by a gentle 15km walk.
Walk Starts @ 10:30 sharp
Parking: €5 at the Visitor Centre.
Distance: 15km
Duration: 4 to 4.5 hours. Allowing for short stops.
Difficulty: Moderate. Suits all levels of fitness.
Gear: Rain gear & hiking boots/shoes. Snack and a drink.
Terrain: The route is on mostly on gravel paths.

There is an error on Google Maps with regards the location of Lough Boora Discovery Park. Please note, you must include the full title, Lough Boora Discovery Park, to ensure you are directed to the correct location. If you only enter Lough Boora, you will not arrive at the destination.
NOTE: The numbers of places on our walks are limited for safety reasons.
Only register if you are confident you can make it, please.
PS: If very bad weather is forecast and the walk has to be cancelled, we will notify those who have registered before 19.00 on the previous day.
