Time: Walk starts at 11:00 AM sharp.Â
Parking: Â Vartry Trail car parkÂ
Distance: 12 km (weather depending)
Duration: 3-3.5 hours, including breaks
Difficulty: Easy to moderate; the route is mainly on flat paths; should suit most levels of fitness.
Gear: Rain gear and appropriate walking boots or trail shoes that can handle mud and water. Walking sticks might be helpful on muddy and slippery parts. Be sure to bring a snack/lunch and a drink.
